<h3>City of Portage&nbsp;</h3><h2>Community Resource Expo&nbsp;</h2>(formerly&nbsp;Community Human Services Open House)&nbsp;&nbsp;You spoke,&nbsp;and we listened…&nbsp;NEW LOCATION, NEW&nbsp;NAME, NEW&nbsp;DATE:&nbsp;&nbsp;Crossroads Mall&nbsp;6650 South&nbsp;Westnedge&nbsp;Avenue&nbsp;at the Food Court&nbsp;Saturday, November 7, 2026, 11&nbsp;AM&nbsp;– 3&nbsp;PM&nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp;City of Portage Community Resource Expo is designed to connect citizens with trusted programs, services,&nbsp;and opportunities that support day-to-day community needs and&nbsp;the&nbsp;experience of&nbsp;visiting&nbsp;the multiple stores,&nbsp;boutiques, delectable&nbsp;eateries,&nbsp;and activities at Crossroads Mall.&nbsp;&nbsp;The City of Portage is partnering with Crossroads Mall to host the&nbsp;Community Resource Expo&nbsp;in the&nbsp;Food&nbsp;Court&nbsp;on&nbsp;the upper level.&nbsp;This offers plenty of&nbsp;well-lit&nbsp;space,&nbsp;allowing the addition of&nbsp;organizations supporting&nbsp;Portage citizens.&nbsp;Saturday at&nbsp;midday&nbsp;brings&nbsp;maximum opportunity to reach people of all ages&nbsp;already&nbsp;visiting&nbsp;Crossroads Mall&nbsp;for a much higher traffic environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp;date is prime&nbsp;for&nbsp;people&nbsp;desiring&nbsp;to be&nbsp;inside,&nbsp;perhaps for&nbsp;early&nbsp;holiday shopping, walking indoors, visiting new and existing eateries, and&nbsp;the&nbsp;all-age&nbsp;attractions&nbsp;at&nbsp;the new&nbsp;Zap Zone XL!&nbsp;&nbsp;What you can expect:&nbsp;<ul><li>No charge to be a&nbsp;Vendor.&nbsp;A&nbsp;Vendor&nbsp;registration form&nbsp;will be forthcoming.&nbsp;</li><li>Vendors will bring and remove their own booth (table&nbsp;and chairs).&nbsp;</li><li>Set up&nbsp;begins&nbsp;at 10&nbsp;AM&nbsp;&nbsp;with&nbsp;easy access&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;Food&nbsp;Court.&nbsp;</li><li>Vendors will&nbsp;be required&nbsp;to&nbsp;stay&nbsp;the duration,&nbsp;11 AM–&nbsp;3&nbsp;PM.&nbsp;</li><li>Vendors are encouraged to&nbsp;showcase&nbsp;organizational demonstrations or&nbsp;host&nbsp;games for a drawing of goods or services by your organization, at your&nbsp;booth/table.&nbsp;</li><li>Expansion of&nbsp;participating local non-profit&nbsp;organizations and opportunities (potentially, a food drive, blood drive, veterans’ services, etc.)&nbsp;</li><li>New Logo and&nbsp;greatly increased&nbsp;marketing and outreach&nbsp;to the public.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;For now:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Save the Date for your organization&nbsp;and stay tuned for&nbsp;new updates.&nbsp;</li><li>Share&nbsp;non-profit organizational&nbsp;contacts with me for potential participation&nbsp;at&nbsp;<a href="mailto:perryt@portagemi.gov" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(70, 120, 134);">perryt@portagemi.gov</a>&nbsp;or 269-324-9280.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;

Growing Together

The Crossroads welcomes event inquiries from community organizations, youth groups, nonprofits, businesses, and independent event organizers interested in hosting events at the mall.&nbsp;Our space is well suited for a wide range of events, including vendor markets, hobby and collector shows, fundraisers, seasonal showcases, and organized group activities.
